As you might know, Minecraft is one of the most popular games everywhere. Minecraft is one of our favorite games and lots of other people’s too!
What is Minecraft?
Minecraft is a video game where you mine materials and craft them into new things. In Minecraft you also can build houses and other things. In Minecraft there are two modes: creative and survival.
Creative mode allows you to have unlimited recourses. You can also create animals whenever you want. In creative mode monsters won’t attack you, but if they did, then you can just fly away.
In survival mode, you must mine materials and eat to survive. In survival you can get attacked by monsters so you must craft weapons. You can’t fly.
Survival Mode – Tips for beginners
If you get lucky, in survival mode you will spawn in an area with water near a cave/mine and near animals and trees. Or a rare mushroom island. The first thing to do is punch some trees. You get wood and use it to craft a crafting table first, then craft weapons and build a house. Be sure to put torches in & out of your house so monsters don’t spawn.
- Minecraft was originally named “Cave Game,” Minecraft: Order of the Stone, and, ultimately, Minecraft.
2. Minecraft was created by a Swedish developer named Markus Persson (basically the founder, let’s say), but the art was by Markus Toivonen & Jasper Boerstra.
3. Minecraft was released by Mojang in 2011 & sold to Microsoft in 2014.
4. Minecraft sold over 180 million copies across all platforms by late 2019, having over 112 million monthly active players.
So now Julia & Leah are going to do a poll on if you like Creative Mode better or Survival Mode better. Results will be at the bottom.
Results are up!
Let’s interview some people:
